Spend much of the day continuing to go through the Directory of Booksellers and inputting their e-mails into a database. Only get to the end of the ‘Bs’ – its arranged by town – and that’s about 160 bookshops. But the best news is that Central Books agree to distribute the book – I need to ask a few questions – but basically I’m really pleased – I was getting worried by the prospect of doing up endless parcels! I get in touch with another publicist who sends back an enthusiastic e-mail – I’ll ring tomorrow. And Rupert has edited the YouTube films – so they’ll be up soon. Things are inching forward. 54 members on the Facebook group.
