Back from Aldeburgh where the exhibition went fairly well. It was busiest during the weekend since both the poetry festival and the documentary film festival were happening – except people did seem to be rushing from one event to another. The opening on Saturday was well attended – but only half a bottle of wine was drunk! I sold 18 paintings in total – including the ones I had sold from the website ahead of time. I had dinner a couple of times at the Lighthouse restaurant – delicious food and extremely friendly staff. There always something of a letdown after an exhibition – and a feeling of what shall I do next. Back to the book on silence I suppose!
