Thursday March 13th – Self-publishing blog diary

Full of energy this morning and do all kinds of things that I’ve been putting off: let Nielsens know I am moving my other 2 titles to Central, start the organisation process of getting them there. Sort out a complicated accounts issue with Bertrams which I’ve been putting off. Talk to the London Review Bookshop and the Open Book in Richmond who sound very enthusiastic on the telephone. There’s no question that the personal approach is better. I really should start travelling round England! I answer the questionnaire that Paul Vlitos of donowdo.com has sent me – he wrote that he was ‘enthralled’ by the book. Send off photos to Matchbox who want to do something in connection with the Waterstones talk. The group Halfway to Venus now has 83 friends. Sneak off to the Tate in the afternoon.
