Talk to the printers in the morning who are still vague about delivery times … and apologetic for not returning my calls. Do people realize how much this matters? However by the end of the day I get a call to say the books should be with me by 10.30-11.00 am TOMORROW. Nerve wracking and thrilling at the same time – will it look ok? It really is about to be launched into the world. Wexas Traveller ring wanting me to do a column – which is great and I get an urgent order from Bertrams for 75 copies at 6pm – too late to let them know that this should be via Central. I wonder who has ordered them? I make a list of my contacts to send the book to.
