Provence

I’m just back from two weeks painting in Provence – a mixture of good conversation, delicious food and HARD  work! Every day we would be driven to a local site where we would spend the morning – over the two weeks we visited Murs, Joucas, Goult, Saturnin les Apt, Saignon, Viens and Simone la Rotunde, Apt and I’Isle sur la Sorgue. Its extraordinary how much work we all produced – evidenced by having it all hung in the studio. Some people were working in oils, other in pastels or gouache and collage.
